History and Philosophy
 Akaza Agency was founded in 2003 by Andréa Drottholm. Andréa, passionate about the service industry, made her career in various sectors thereof including, hotel, cruise, and restaurant. Thus with her extensive knowledge and enthusiasm she set about founding an apartment based rental agency in Barcelona. What she found was surprising, although there were agencies offering apartment rentals in Barcelona, they seemed to lack the kind of dedication to the client that she was so eager to incorporate in the business. What was missing was an agency that cared about its clients, one which would offer 24 hour availability, help, and personal service to each client no matter their individual needs. In short, she wished to make the often impersonal apartment rental business personal.
Thus Akaza was born. Beginning as a one man apartment based rental agency its unique formula caused Akaza to grow exponentially, and today we offer apartments, rural houses, hotels, and a whole host of other services to our clients.
