If you arrive to Girona (Costa Brava, 100 km from Barcelona), regardless of your departure airport and arrival time, you have good possibilities to arrive to Barcelona centre and your Akaza apartment.

From outside the arrival terminal at Girona airport, you will find Barcelona Bus, a company which offers transfers to Barcelona centre (Estacio del Nord) in connection with all Ryan Air arrivals and departures.

The bus runs every 15-30 minutes and the price per ticket is 12 euros one way and 21 euros return. The return ticket is valid 30 days from day of purchase which means that if your flight home is with Ryan Air, from Girona, we advice you to buy the return ticket!

You should buy your ticket while you wait for your luggage since they do not sell tickets in the bus!

In order to come from Estacio del Nord to your Akaza apartment, or the other way around, we suggest you to take a taxi. A taxi is the most convenient means of transportation since if you go by metro you have to change line which means a lot of stairs! The taxi ride is short (10-15 minutes) and cheap!

Early departures from Girona:
We understand that many flights to England and Scandinavia depart very early in the morning. The Barcelona Bus has its earliest departure from Barcelona Estacio del Nord at 03.15 (3.15 am) which arrives at Girona at 04.25 (4.25 am). This bus departs in connection with Ryan Air departures to for instance London Stansted, Bristol, Billund (Denmark) and Frankfurt Hahn (Germany).

If you have to take the bus from Estacio del Nord at 03.15, you can ask your Akaza representative to order a taxi to pick you up at your apartment at 02.45.

Late arrivals to Girona:
Many Ryan Air flights arrive very late to Girona, for instance 22.20 (10.00 pm) from Aarhus (Denmark) and 23.50 (11.50 pm) Gothenburg (Sweden). Also for the late arrivals, you can choose Barcelona Bus as your transport to Barcelona and your Akaza apartment. The latest Barcelona Bus departs Girona airport at 00.15 (12.15 am) and arrives at Barcelona Estacio de Nord at 01.25 (01.25 am). The late arrival time will not affect your possibility to access your Akaza apartment.

Please note our late arrival fees:

Arrivals to the apartment between 20:00h and 22:00h have an extra charge of 20.00€.

Arrivals to the apartment between 22:00h and 24:00h have an extra charge of 30.00€.

Arrivals to the apartment later than 24:00 have an extra charge of 50.00€.

These charges are due to late working hours of our staff and has to be paid to the Akaza representative at

check-in.
