Sagrada Familia is the neighbourhood home of the world famous Gaudi Cathderal. Tourists from all over the world flock to this incredible piece of archtietcure, designed and built by Antonio Gaudi. Unfourtanatly he never finsihed the work as he died in an accident before seeing her completion, he was hit by a tram in his early 40s. At the tiime of his death Gaudi had not only started the planning of the Sagrada Familia but had also managed to build various architectural masterpieces all over Barcelona. Another interesting place to visit for those who love Gaudis work, is the Parc Guell, near Gracia. |

Sagrada familia also has other beautiful surroundings worth visiting. If you take a walk along the Gaudi Avenue upwards towards the hill, you will find Hospital Sant Pau another extraodinary building and further along Avenida Gaudi you can find lots of Cafes and Restaurants. |
