The Sants District

  Image

In the old days Sants was not part of Barcelona put its own village. It has plenty of character and flair of a small town, with its low buildings, narrow streets with plenty of trees, and nice vibe of a "barrio".

This area used to be the home of many anarchists and feminist movements.

Today it is part of Barcelonas residential areas, and, apart from having Europe's longest shopping street (Carrer de Sants), it also offers some of the unique tourist attractions in Barcelona.

Within walking you find the Plaza España, with the Magic Fountains on display every Thursday until Sunday from 20:30 till midnight. Behind Plaza España you find the big Mountain Park Montjuic, offering plenty of museums like the Picasso Museum, The War Museum, Poble Espanyol, The Olympic Stadium etc.

At the other end of Sants within walking you find the Nou Camp Football stadium, the home pitch for Barcelona FC. And the Football Museum. In the area where we offer our apartments it is very tranquil with little noise, as well it is a safe area, non touristy and right next to the main train station offering several options for transport metro lines, and trains if you wish to head out of the city for the day.
