Amalienborg is a completely renovated apartment. The apartment has a mix of Spanish, Irish and American characteristics. The large living room has a sofa bed for two persons, TV and DVD, dining area and an open kitchen. The American kitchen is fully equipped. The master bedroom has a double bed and a double bunk bed. The bathroom has a massage shower which offers the possibility to relax after an intense day of Barcelona. The apartment is on the fifth floor (please note: there is no elevator) in the Barceloneta area. The beach is only two minutes away. The old harbour and Port Vell are five minutes away. Typical Spanish restaurants and supermarkets are nearby as well.
If you want to go to La Rambla, the heart of Barcelona, it is only fifteen minutes walking or five minutes by metro.
THE FOLLOWING PART IS ONLY FOR RENT LONGER THAN 1 MONTH NOT FOR VACATION RENTAL
Monthly prices start at 930 EUR per month (depending on duration of stay and season) Two months of deposit is required, unless stay is shorter than two months.
NOTE: Bills are not included in the rent. At the end of the contract, the tenant is obliged to leave the apartment in the exact same order as the apartment was found. All used sheets and towels should be washed by the tenant. In case this is not the fact when leaving the apartment, an additional cost 20 EUR per bed set and 10 EUR per towel set will be charged. Furthermore there is a mandatory cleaning procedure related to long term rentals, which is not included in the rent and will have cost of 15 EUR an hour. Apartments of 35m2 to 50 m2 are expected to have a minimum cleaning of 4 hours and apartments of 50m2 to 80m2 of 5 hours. Therefore the minimum cost for final cleaning will be respectively 60 EUR and 75 EUR.
How to reach the property
By Taxi: 20-30 minutes, depending on the traffic.
Train: 32 minutes to arrive to Estació de França, 10 minutes walk from the apartment. Runs every 30 minutes, from 06:00-22:29.
Bus: Drops you off at Plaça Catalunya, from there you can catch the metro. Your stop is Barceloneta, on the yellow line.

Deposit
A fully refundable deposit of guarantee is requested on entering the accommodation to ensure its careful use. For this accommodation, the deposit value is: 200.00 EUR
Booking Cancellation Policy
If notification of cancellation is received within 48 hours after the reservation has been confirmed by Akaza, the full pre-payment will be returned to the client. Cancellations received after 48 hours are not subject to refund regardless of the cancellation reason.
All cancellations must be received by e-mail or by fax.
If the apartment is, for any reason, not in rental conditional at the time of arrival, in situation of damage, such as leaks or any other conditions making the apartment un-liveable, Akaza has the right to cancel a booking for this specific apartment and reserves the right to transfer clients to an equivalent accommodation at its discretion. If an alternative apartment is not available Akaza will then return the pre-payment. Akaza will do its best to assist the client to find a suitable solution of alternative accommodation, but will by no means be held responsible to do so.
