Beaches of Barcelona
Barcelona is not just a vibrant historic city. Its 4.5km of beaches are some of the finest on the Spanish coast. Easiest way to get to the beaches is by public transport.

1. San Sebastià Beach
San Sebastià is the closest beach to Barcelona, located in the old Barcelona district. It stretches around 1.1km from the port estuary near the Barceloneta area to Carrer Almirall Cervera. It is popular with local residents as well as tourists looking for a quick dip.
2. Nova Icària Beach
Nova Icària beach is another favourite with both locals and visitors, partly because of its easy access from Barcelona by public transport. It is 400m long, stretching from the Olympic Port to the Bogatell breakwater. It is popular with families and groups of friends and is quieter than San Sebastià.
3. Nova Mar Bella Beach
Nova Mar Bella Beach is around 500m long, running from Bac de Roda to the Selva de Mar. It is part of the 1992 Olympic Games development and is linked with Mar Bella Beach. It is most popular with women bathers and most users are young, mainly residents around the Sant Martí district.

Barcelona, the Catalan capital, is one of the most vibrating and colourful cities of Spain. Due to its perfect location at the Mediterranean Sea, its varied landscape, cosmopolitan charm and impressive architecture, the city has become a magnet for people from all over the world. Below, we want to present you three of the numerous sights of Barcelona.
La Pedrera
La Pedrera is one of Gaudi's masterpieces and it is also called Casa Milà. It was built between 1905 and 1910 in the upmarket Gracia district serving as an apartment and an office block. The interior is fascinating as you step back a century into the home of the Milà family and see the different rooms of the apartment.

FC Barcelona museum
This is the second most visited museum in the city. It is located in the main stand of the Nou Camp and provides a insight to the history of this great club. A visit to the Museum includes a panoramic view of the stadium from the grandstand. An extended way of enjoying an FC Barcelona Museum Visit is to go on the Camp Nou Tour on which, as well as the museum area, visitors can also enjoy the chance to explore some of the most emblematic areas of the Barcelona stadium.

Torre Agbar

The Torre Agbar is located in the Poblenou neighborhood of Barcelona and is named after its owners, the Agbar Group, a holding company whose interests include the Barcelona water company Aigües de Barcelona. It was designed by French architect Jean Nouvel. It opened in June 2005 and was inaugurated officially by the King of Spain on 16 September 2005.
According to Jean Nouvel, the shape of the Torre Agbar was inspired by Montserrat, a mountain near Barcelona, and by the shape of a geyser rising into the air. The Agbar Tower measures 144.4 m in height and consists of 38 storeys, including four underground levels.
A defining feature of the building is its nocturnal illumination. It has 4,500 LED luminous devices that allow generation of luminous images in the façade. In addition, it has temperature sensors in the outside of the tower that regulate the opening and closing of the glass blinds of the façade of the building, reducing the consumption of energy for air conditioning.
