Flights will take place in the mornings from Cardedeu in El Valles Oriental, only 30 minutes outside of Barcelona. Our service includes transportation from the centre of Barcelona to the launching pad in Cardedeu. After arriving at the site, the program will be explained and our professional team will prepare and inflate the balloon. At that time we will all be geared up to take off with our balloon. The flight will last 1h30, enough time to enjoy the freedom and tranquility of floating through the air and to make some unique pictures of Barcelona and Catalonia. After the flight you will receive your official flight certificate and we will have a ´surprise` breakfast, after which we will return to Barcelona.

Akaza would like to welcome new and fresh forces to its team! We have a new intern Lars from Netherlands who is obtaining his Bachelor degree in Business Administration at HS Zuyd University in Maastricht and completing his 6-month internship at Akaza together with his colleagues Annika from Austria and Zuzana from Slovakia, both already finished with their Business studies at Vienna Universities in Austria, Annika with her Bachelor and Zuzana with her Masters degree. Annika and Zuzana joined our team at the end of last year and are both working on their internships here.

Alimentaria 2010
Barcelona will host its 18. edition of the international food and beverage exhibition which is one of the leading international events that Spain is hosting. This exhibition will present the latest consumer tastes and products from the international food and beverage industry.
Alimentaria will be held 22nd - 26th of March 2010 at Fira de Barcelona in Plaza Espanya at Montjuic. Almost 4,000 leading food and beverage manufacturers and distributors will gather at Alimentaria 2010, and 130,000 professional buyers from more than 155 countries will attend. The event is committed to its successful structure, which divides the exhibition space into sectors with 13 shows organised by product family.
Shows making up the exhibition are:
Congelexpo - frozen products, Expobebidas - soft drinks, bottled water, ciders, beers and musts, Expoconser - fish and vegetable preserves, Intercarn - meat & allied products, Interlact - milk & dairy products, Interpesca - seafood, aquaculture & farmed fish products, Intervin- wines & spirits, Multiproducto - food products in general, Mundidulce - sweets, biscuits & confectionery, Restaurama - food & hospitality products and services, Olivaria, the area dedicated to olive oil, Ecological & Organic Food/Vegefruit, a show looking to the future and reflecting the industry's responses to increasingly concerned consumers.
TheAutonomous CommunitiesandInternational Pavilionsthatoffer quality products sharing a common geographical origin will complete the Alimentaria exhibition, which is considered to be the second largest food show in the world.

Not only the building itself is worth seeing, the architecture design is amazing, but also the idea behind this foundation is very interesting. CaixaForum is a cultural centre created by Caixa d'Estalvis i Pensions de Barcelona. The building was constructed in a modernist style and occupies former factory Fabrica Casaramona.
This month there are several exhibitions going on and there are all free. CaixaForum operates as a foundation and supports young or independent artists and offers various projects. We would like to focus your attention on this month's premiere of Federico Fellini's famous photo exhibition.
