Lot of things will change in November for Akaza.
Internal changes first, as Quentin who is working to Akaza since June will leave Akaza to return to France after 6 months in our sparkling city of Barcelona and will be replaced by Annika from Austria who is arriving soon to integrate the Akaza team.
But one of the most important things about Akaza is that the agency is now member of Apartur, the Barcelona Association of Tourist Apartments. Apartur is an association observing the criteria of quality and respect for the environment to provide the best quality for the guests coming in Barcelona.
Furthermore, Andréa is still developing the offer in Rural House of Akaza to provide our guest with a wide range of great properties all around Catalonia and Southern France.

Oriental Treasure
Flat located in the Barceloneta neighbourhood, one minute away from the Sant Miquel and la Barceloneta beaches, and ten minutes walking distance from the old town. Ideal for people who want to enjoy the beach in a quiet zone, and be very close to the ambience of the center of Barcelona at the same time.
The flat, which has been totally renovated recently, consists of: living-dining room with American kitchen designed to fit into this space, renovated toilet with design fittings, and a double room with a king-size bed.
It is also fully equipped: TV, DVD, HiFi, air conditioning (cold / warm), kettle, bread toaster, coffee maker, double sofa-bed...
Fully equipped kitchen with all its utensils (pans and casseroles, coffee maker, kettle, bread toaster...) and clean linen and towels are provided. There is a double bed in the bedroom, and a double sofa-bed in the living room. The heating is integrated in the air conditioning device, which has cold/warm functions. The Barceloneta beach is less than 30m away, perfect to have a bath in summer, or go for a walk on the sand in winter.
At Beach Side
This is a comfortable apartment situated in Barceloneta, right behind Plaça Barceloneta. This apartment has one double bedroom and a double sofa bed. The apartment is within walking distance of the beach. Furthermore you will find numerous shops, bars and restaurants on and around Plaça Barceloneta and the Paseo Joan Borbo. This is an excellent apartment to spend your holiday. It is also available for long term rentals.
The Fishermens House 1
Brand new studio apartment with wooden floors and modern furniture, located just five minutes walk from the beach, 10 minutes walk from the Gothic quarter, at the foot of the trendy el Born neighbourhood and near the harbour and the yacht marina. This smart apartment is in a recently refurbished building painted with warm, Mediterranean colours and sleeps up to 3 people in 2 single beds and a single sofa-bed. There is a modern, fully equipped kitchen, a complete bathroom with shower and a pretty salon/dining area with TV. In addition it has air conditioning and central heating. You will find clean, new bed linen and fresh towels upon arrival and all the necessary kitchen utensils you might need like plates, glasses, kettle, toaster, pots, pans, iron and ironing board. Located close to the historical centre and the beach this apartment is perfect to enjoy a chilled-out stay right by the Mediterranean, yet within walking distance to the major attractions. We have three apartments in the same building which is a perfect solution for families or groups wanting to stay together.
The Parc del Laberint d'Horta (Labyrith Park of Horta) is an historical garden in the Horta-Guinardó district in Barcelona, and the oldest of its kind in the city. Located in the former estate of the Desvalls family, next to the Collserola ridge, the park comprises an 18th century neoclassical garden and a 19th century romantic garden. The park got its name from the hedge maze made up of 750 metres of trimmed cypress trees. The romantic garden is distributed in a series of flower beds and small squares under the shade of huge trees. On the northernmost border of this side of the parc there's a waterfall. On Wednesdays and Sundays the entrance is free, the other days 1.80 EUR. In October it is open from 10.00-19.00, from November onwards only until 18.00. The Magic Fountain is a spectacular display of colour, light, motion, music and water acrobatics - it mixes all these elements together in just the right combinations! The magic fountain is a "must see" when you come to Barcelona.
