The Torneo Godó, also known as Trofeo Conde de Godó, Open Banco Sabadell (current official name since 2008), and Open SEAT(official name from 1995 to 2007), is an annual tennis tournament for male professional players arrived at its 59^th edition. The event has held annually in Barcelona, since 1953, and is played on clay courts. Originally it was an event of the Grand Prix Tennis Circuit between (1970-1989), and now it is part of the 500 series on the ATP World Tour.

This year’s edition will start on Monday 22 April 2013 and it will finish on Sunday 28 April 2013.

It is Spain's second most important tournament on the ATP tour after the Madrid Masters and the event generally takes place in the last week of April, when temperatures in Barcelona average a daily high of 18°C.

Spain storm to victory in the European Championships

 This week, after beating Macedonia to reach the final, Spain conceeded a 98-85 to become Europen champions for the second year running. Carlos Navarro top scored with 27 points, while Memphis Grizzlies star Gasol chipped in with a double-double, adding 17 points and 10 rebounds for Spain. Despite Tony Parker scoring 26 points for France, the Spaniards put up a fight and saw them off in the final quarters. This is the second year running Spain have won the tournament after beating Serbia to reach the final in 2009.

The weekend of the 8 of May 2011, the local derby will take place in Barcelona, between the FC Barcelona and Espanyol Barcelona.

This is a non-stop regatta with some outside assistance permitted, although subject to rules and penalties. The Barcelona World Race 2010/11 is the second edition of the regatta. The first was in 2007/08. The start will be given on 31^st of December 2010 at 13:00 opposite Hotel W in the Port of Barcelona. The arrival of the leading entries is forecast for the end of March 2011.The course is from Barcelona to Barcelona via three capes: Good Hope, Leeuwin and Horn, Cook Strait, putting Antarctica to starboard. There are 15 teams registered. The length of the course is approximately 25,000 nautical miles (46,300 km) along the Great Circle line, the shortest route traced on a map across the world. The Barcelona World Race covers almost all of the world’s macroclimatic zones, with the added obstacle of the Mediterranean and the passage through the Straits of Gibraltar and Cook.
